About Olive & The Cowboy
OUR STORY
Olive & The Cowboy is a boutique wallpaper design studio based in Perth, Western Australia, creating custom mural wallpapers from original in-house artwork.
We draw from our skills and experience in design, painting and drawing and combine these with trends from interiors and fashion, a love of nature, cultures and patterns, to create Olive and the Cowboy wallpaper.
Each design is created as a seamless composition, bringing depth, atmosphere and a refined, architectural presence to interiors..

WHO ARE WE
Olive & The Cowboy is led by designer Jenny Clegg, founder and creative director of the studio.
Originally from the UK, Jenny has over 21 years of experience working across Australia and internationally within leading textile design studios, as well as independently on commissioned work.
Her career spans both fashion and interiors, with a long-held focus on developing a considered collection of large-scale, original wallpapers designed to bring depth, atmosphere and a refined sense of place to interiors.

Each design begins as original artwork, developed through a balance of hand-drawn and digital processes.
Created at an oversized scale, our wallpapers are composed to flow seamlessly across a space - bringing depth, atmosphere and a refined architectural presence to interiors.
Designed with longevity in mind, every piece reflects a focus on detail, materiality and a considered sense of place.
OUR NAME
The name Olive & The Cowboy is inspired by Jenny’s two children - Olive, the creative spirit, and Fred, the wild cowboy.
It reflects a balance of imagination and individuality, shaping a studio grounded in both artistic expression and a sense of adventure.
